Built during the 1960’s  and 1970’s and named after Thomas Telford, the famous civil engineer, the “New Town” of  Telford was created from the merger of several smaller towns: Wellington, Madeley, Dawley and  Ironbridge  and is widely known as  The Birthplace of Industry", due to the areas history during the Industrial Revolution.

Telford sits in the beautiful county of Shropshire, just 30 miles (40 minutes) west of Birmingham on the M54 motorway.
